Ariana Grande is getting a special nod at next month's Music Biz Awards Luncheon.
The Music Business Association's annual convention will be honoring the singer with their Breakthrough Artist of the Year award.
Music Biz president James Donio says in a statement that while many fans know Ariana as an actress on Nickelodeon, their award represents "her potential for even greater success in the years ahead."
Ariana says it's "a true honor" to be receiving the Breakthrough Artist award, as "music has always been [her] first love," and "it's a great feeling to know that the industry has embraced [her] with open arms."
Past recipients of the Music Biz honor include Nicki Minaj, Carrie Underwood and John Legend. The conference will be held at the Hyatt Regency in Los Angeles on May 8th.
